“Her Dreams was inspired by a photo of my daughter sleeping when she was very little and also inspired by the work of artist Gustav Klimt. I’ve always been inspired by Klimt’s sleeping figures, use of shiny gold in his paintings and use of circles and flowers. I’ve been dreaming of making this painting for about 8 years since the photo was taken. It was such a thrill and delight to finally get the chance to create this painting!” -Sara
This original painting is part of a 63-painting collection created for Sara’s current solo exhibition In Our Wildest Dreams at Western Michigan University.
The painting is signed, ready to hang with a wire on the back, and includes a certificate of authenticity signed by Sara.

Sara will start shipping and coordinating local painting deliveries/pick up of sold paintings starting the week of December 1st, 2025 and will get all of the show’s paintings shipped out asap.
