“In Our Wildest Dreams was such a fun painting to make. I made it for the show, as the image that would be on the show postcard. I wanted to include my childhood bed and pink floral bedspread- as I knew those physical objects would be in the exhibit. I love the idea of “In OUR Wildest Dreams” - the show is meant to be about all of us leaning in and pursuing our wildest dreams. Not just Sara’s wildest dreams ;). My goal with this exhibition is to not only honor the past people and places that have helped me along my journey but to use this moment to encourage others to do the same. May this sweet little painting be a reminder for its future owner to remember this show, this moment and sentiment.” -Sara
This original painting is part of a 63-painting collection created for Sara’s current solo exhibition In Our Wildest Dreams at Western Michigan University.
The painting is signed, ready to hang with a wire on the back, and includes a certificate of authenticity signed by Sara.
Please note: This painting is currently on display in Sara’s solo exhibition at Western Michigan University. You can see it in person at the gallery until the show ends November 22nd, 2025. (See events page for gallery hours, parking info and details). Sara will start shipping and coordinating local painting deliveries/pick up of sold paintings starting the week of December 1st, 2025 and will get all of the show’s paintings shipped out asap.
