“The Lucky Ones depicts a peaceful landscape with my sweet Grandma’s house nestled on top of a large hill full of wild blossoms, grasses and cat tails. I always loved how her yard was a wild jungle of flowers- both domestic and wild ones and how the wind would make the grasses on the hill sweep in every direction. Her home is small and humble and it has a rusty horseshoe hanging above the front door- which she believed brought everyone in her home good luck.” -Sara
This original painting is part of a 63-painting collection created for Sara’s current solo exhibition In Our Wildest Dreams at Western Michigan University.
The painting is signed, ready to hang with a wire on the back, and includes a certificate of authenticity signed by Sara.
